DAIR Problems



DAIR problems may show up on the maintenance radar scope as

a display of the wrong number of targets, no targets or

incorrectly positioned targets. The problem could be as

simple as opertor error - the wrong SW204 setting or running

the wrong transport.



If the problem is on one transport only, the problem is 

probably not with the DAIR itself, but with the tape, heads,

etc on the affected deck.



If the problem is on both transports, it probably is with the 

DAIR, and the quickest way to check it out is by using the

DAIR test points.
